Combination of Somatic and Cognitive Therapy
As an integrative therapist, I work with each person as a unique individual, using a tailored combination of therapeutic approaches.
I avoid labels and rigid models, instead drawing from a variety of modalities, including:
• Trauma-informed therapy
• Psychosomatic therapy
• Psychodynamic therapy
• Internal Family Systems (IFS, Dr. Richard Schwartz)
• Compassionate Inquiry (CI, Dr. Gabor Maté)
• CBT and PCT informed therapy
While cognitive therapy focuses on thoughts and emotions, a psychosomatic approach also works with the body’s responses to stress, recognising the deep connection between mental and physical well-being.
Rather than focusing on advice or immediate solutions, my role is to facilitate a thoughtful therapeutic process that supports self-understanding, emotional resilience, and sustainable personal growth.

What should I expect in the first session?
Every discovery session is personalised to the individual. We’ll discuss your experiences, history, and perspectives, and outline your goals for the process. The session is also an opportunity to learn about the approach I use and see how it aligns with what you’re looking for.
What languages do you offer therapy in?
I offer sessions in English, Urdu, Hindi and Farsi (Persian).
How long are your sessions?
I offer individual therapy sessions in both 60-minute and 90-minute durations. Couples therapy sessions are 90 minutes long.
How many sessions do I need to take?
There’s no set number of sessions — it varies from person to person. Therapy is a process of exploration and growth, and each individual’s journey unfolds in its own way. Sessions can be tailored to your goals and interests, whether you’re looking for short-term support or ongoing personal development. A discovery session can help you decide the approach and timeframe that feel right for you.

Do you offer in-person sessions?
I only offer online sessions.
Is confidentiality guaranteed?
Confidentiality is essential to our work together, and everything shared in sessions remains private, except in exceptional circumstances, such as when there is a serious intent to harm yourself or others (e.g., plans for suicide or violence). In some cases, I may seek supervision or consultation with other professionals, but your identity and personal details will never be shared.
